Traditional Foster Care

Tier 1 applies if less than 3 Clermont County children are in the home.

Tier 3 applies if 3 or more Clermont County children are in the home.

Child Day Care Maximum Weekly Reimbursement: $125

Mileage Reimbursement: The privately owned vehicle (POV) per mile published rate is listed on www.GSA.gov

Therapeutic Foster Care

If you are interested and meet these requirements, please contact your support worker for this to occur at your next recertification.

Therapeutic Foster Home Requirements:

• Weekly contact with the agency
• Bi-weekly face to face
• At least one face to face is in the home
• Attend and participate in treatment team meetings
• Level of care reviewed every 90 days

Therapeutic Foster Home Licensing Requirements:

• 365 days of caring for a foster child in placement; 60 hours of training relating to children with special or exceptional needs; 5 years cumulative experience caring for a child with special needs.
• 60 hours of training for each recertification for each foster parent
• No more than 2 therapeutic children in the home at a time
